Natural History Museum and Blippi Launch Bespoke Jurassic Oceans Apparel and Plush Collection at Character.com

New educational range combining playful design with prehistoric discovery, now available at Character.com

LONDON, May 12, 2026 – The Natural History Museum has teamed up with popular pre-school brand Blippi to launch a bespoke apparel and plush collection in collaboration with Character.com, inspired by ancient oceans. The range will be available from May 18, 2026 via launch partner Character.com in store, online at Character.com, and via Amazon.
The collection is designed to inspire curiosity and encourage early learning about the prehistoric world, taking its designs from a new Jurassic Oceans-inspired style guide developed specifically for the collaboration. The range combines Blippi’s distinctive design style and iconic blue and orange colour palette with curious creatures from the past – from Plesiosaurs and Ichthyosaurs to Ammonites, Belemnites and the Jurassic Horseshoe Crab.

The collaboration aims to inspire a deep love of and an inquisitive relationship with the history of our natural world, brought to life across key products designed to delight children who are just starting to learn about the prehistoric world. With Blippi joining this mission, the collection encourages exploration in a playful, fun, and enriching way, while adding the trusted and renowned name of the Natural History Museum to give caregivers reassurance.
Beyond the collection itself, Character.com has created a bespoke retail experience designed to extend the sense of discovery and play. Items will be delivered in sustainably produced colour-me-in packaging, allowing little ones to continue the adventure at home by decorating their parcel design. In selected Character.com stores, families can enjoy a matching colour-me-in feature wall, interactive activity trails and special Blippi meet-and-greet experiences, creating an immersive launch environment for young explorers.
The core collection consists of apparel for children of ages 18 months-8 years, including fun, novelty elements such as glow in the dark features on Pj’s and discovery lift-and-reveal flaps on T-shirts. Alongside the apparel, the teams are excited to introduce two unique plush characters – Blippi with his magnifying glass ready to uncover the ancient creatures of the sea, and a personality-packed Plesiosaur dressed in Blippi’s signature orange glasses and bow tie.
