Lauren Vaz Joins the Blippi Family, Bringing Meekah to Life Alongside Cashaé Monya

The Actress and Performer Joins the Meekah Ensemble, Bringing Her Own Warmth, Confidence and Big-Sister Energy to the Fan-Favorite Character 

LOS ANGELES — October 13, 2026 — Moonbug Entertainment today announced that actress and performer Lauren Vaz will join Cashaé Monya in bringing Meekah to life, expanding the ensemble of performers behind one of the core characters in the global Blippi franchise.

Blippi is a live-action kids’ franchise built around curiosity, exploration and real-world adventures. Within that world, Meekah brings her own distinct perspective: while Blippi helps kids discover what’s out there, Meekah encourages them to jump in and experience it for themselves through movement, music, creativity and self-expression. With her signature big-sister energy, Meekah ignites curiosity by encouraging kids to take a chance, try something new and discover what they can do.

Like Blippi, Meekah is an established character who can be brought to life by different performers. Vaz now joins Monya in sharing the role across the Blippi franchise, as Meekah prepares to enter an exciting new chapter. 

Families may recognize Vaz from the Blippi: Wonderful World Tour, where she performed as a dancer, touring twice across North America and the Philippines. Now, she joins Monya in sharing the role of Meekah across the Blippi franchise, bringing her own background in acting, dance, movement and live performance to the character.

A Los Angeles-based actress and storyteller, Vaz earned her BFA in Acting for Stage and Screen from Azusa Pacific University and has appeared in Lifetime’s My Landlord Wants Me Dead, USC Films’ The Morning After and a variety of stage and digital productions. A lifelong performer who grew up in Denver, Vaz began in local theater and dance and has continued to explore creative expression through acting, music, movement and storytelling.
